In order to participate on IRC, you must download an IRC Client. Currently the most popular IRC program is mIRC which may be downloaded and used as shareware. After installing mIRC, you will need to choose a server to connect to.

Unfortunately these days, connecting to the Undernet can be a chore. Due to massive Denial Of Service attacks and other problems, channel services are just starting to come back online, many US servers are gone and the ones that remain are maxed on their connections allowed. In an effort to hopefully save someone some time, we have compiled a list of our "recommended" servers you may use to connect and join our channel.

When connected to the server, one only needs to type /join #gnnchat and then you'll be connected to the channel, ready to chat.
