Welcome to the South Side, one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Pittsburgh -- I like to think of it as Pittsburgh's Boardwalk, as most of the places to visit are in a 10+ block stretch of East Carson St, between the 10th St. and Birmingham bridges. Just a mile east of Station Square, the South Side is easily accessible to most of the Pittsburgh area. The neighborhood owes its renaissance to a successful melding of the old guard and the avant-garde.
